Healthy Creamy Coleslaw (Alpha Health)

Give your classic coleslaw a fresh, nourishing twist with this vibrant Healthy Coleslaw made using Alpha Organic Black Seed Oil.

Light, crunchy, and full of real‑food flavour, this version swaps heavy dressings for a clean, wholesome blend that lets the veggies shine. The black seed oil adds a subtle earthiness and a boost of richness that elevates every bite, a simple upgrade that makes this everyday side feel extra special.

Serves 4–6 as a side dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 carrots, shredded
  • 1 scallion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • ½ red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp tahini
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 2–4 Tbsp water (to thin)
  • ½ tsp Alpha Organic Black Seed Oil
  • Salt to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

  • Add red cabbage, green cabbage, carrots, scallions, cilantro, and red pepper to a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup, garlic, water, Alpha Organic Black Seed Oil, and salt to make a dressing.
  • Add dressing to the vegetables and mix thoroughly. Let stand for 10 minutes to allow the cabbage to soften slightly and the flavours to mix.
