Warm Roasted Garlic & Caramelized Onion Cashew Cheese Spread
This luxurious holiday spread blends velvety VegNature Cashew Cheese with sweet, slow-caramelized onions and soft, golden roasted garlic for a deeply comforting, savoury flavour. 1 container VegNature Cashew Cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs or Original)

1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced

1 whole bulb garlic

1 tbsp olive oil + extra for roasting

1 tsp balsamic vinegar

1–2 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, minced

Sea salt + cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

Roast the Garlic
Slice the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast at 400°F for 30–35 minutes until soft, golden, and fragrant. -
Caramelize the Onion
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low. Add sliced onion and cook slowly (15–20 minutes), stirring often until deeply golden. Stir in balsamic vinegar to finish. -
Blend the Spread
In a bowl, combine VegNature Cashew Cheese with all the roasted garlic (squeezed out of the bulb), half the caramelized onions, herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well blended. -
Serve Warm or Chilled

Warm: Transfer to a small baking dish and heat at 300°F for 8–10 minutes.
