- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (just pumpkin, no spices)
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
Cream the butter with the brown sugar. Stir in eggs. Add the pumpkin.
Combine all the dry ingredients. Add this to the wet mixture.
Pour into a greased 9”x 5” loaf pan.
Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes, till done.
Cool 10 minutes and then remove from pan.
