Warm Apple Pie Porridge

Comfort in a bowl... this grounding breakfast soothes the nervous system with slow-burning carbs, magnesium-rich seeds, and cozy fall spices that naturally help reduce cortisol levels. 

Ingredients: 
1/2 cup milled buckwheat (or rolled oats) 
1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk or plant-based milk of choice 
1 small apple, diced 
3 Tbsp Natasha’s Mighty Seed Mix 
3 Tbsp pumpkin seeds 

 3 tbsp walnut or pecan pieces 
1 tsp cinnamon 
1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey (optional) 
Pinch sea salt 

Directions: 

  1. In a small pot, combine almond milk, buckwheat (or oats), diced apple, cinnamon, and sea salt. 

  1. Simmer gently for 6–8 minutes, stirring often until creamy. 

  1. Stir in seed mix and pumpkin seeds before serving. 

  1. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired. 

StorageKeeps well in fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of almond milk.
