with Shannon Proulx, Student of Holistic Nutrition, Founder of The Glorious Kitchen

We know that too much sun is bad for our skin but is lathering on a chemical-filled sunscreen any better? Join us to learn about fresh, delicious foods that help your skin protect itself naturally and get the inside scoop on natural mineral sunscreens. We’ll be whipping up some skin friendly treats and chatting about what you can do to keep your skin healthy this summer.

You will learn:

  • Fresh foods that help protect your skin from sun damage
  • Foods to avoid that are damaging to your skin
  • The inside scoop on natural and chemical sunscreens

Participants will get a sampling our tasty skin friendly treats and will be entered into a draw for a Green Beaver Sun Screen

Shannon is passionate about skin health and the impact it has on our confidence. After years of living under the beautiful Australian sun and lathering on chemical sunscreens, she is now advocating a gentler approach to skincare. As a student of Holistic Nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Shannon fully believes in the importance of caring for our skin from the inside out with a wholesome and nutritious diet. She also believes that we need to be gentle on our skin with good quality, non-toxic products and most importantly, make a promise to ourselves to appreciate our own beauty no matter what. Shannon can be found inspiring others to create delicious, nutritious meals on her website thegloriouskitchen.com, on The Glorious Kitchen YouTube channel and while teaching local cooking demonstrations.
