With Chef and Holistic Nutritionist Tanya Skeates

Join Chef and Holistic Nutritionist Tanya as she goes through some of the foods that can help with burnout recovery and stress reduction. Sip some herbal relaxing teas while she demonstrates how to incorporate foods rich in Magnesium, B and C vitamins as well as Omega 3. All food is suitable for vegetarian and gluten free eating. Taste the food and take home the recipes.
On the menu she will demonstrate the following for the class to sample:
-Brown rice, avocado, asparagus and broccoli citrus bowl
-Fresh spinach salad with oranges, blueberries and red pepper
-Dark chocolate, oats and peanut butter crunch
Throughout her years behind the stove, Tanya has dedicated much of her time to forming relationships with farmers and educating people on the importance of supporting our local food growers and makers. As an educator, Tanya has been teaching cooking classes for over 17 years at various locations including Soupçon, Algonquin College and the Urban Element and hopes to continue inspiring people to cook and eat healthy.
