Join Chef and Holistic Nutritionist Tanya as she demonstrates and talks about some new recipes that help reduce inflammation. In this 2-hour workshop Chef Tanya will prepare recipes that help reduce systemic inflammation.The recipes provided are suitable for grain free and dairy free diets.
On the menu she will demonstrate the following for the class to sample:
-Thai pumpkin soup with ginger and turmeric
-Raw carrot and hemp seed salad
-Warm blueberry almond crisp
Throughout her years behind the stove, Tanya has dedicated much of her time to forming relationships with farmers and educating people on the importance of supporting our local food growers and makers. As an educator, Tanya has been teaching cooking classes for over 17 years at various locations including Soupçon, Algonquin College and the Urban Element and hopes to continue inspiring people to cook and eat healthy.
