Chef Tanya will walk you through some of the best foods that help fight inflammation from turmeric to cruciferous vegetables. Join Tanya while she demonstrates how to make amazing dishes that will help calm and soothe inflammation. All recipes are gluten free and vegan.
On the menu she will demonstrate the following for the class to sample:
-Cauliflower Steaks with beans
-Sweet Potato Salad and Quinoa with Citrus Turmeric Dressing
-Lentil Beetroot and Nut Salad
Throughout her years behind the stove, Tanya has dedicated much of her time to forming relationships with farmers and educating people on the importance of supporting our local food growers and makers. As an educator, Tanya has been teaching cooking classes for over 17 years at various locations including Soupçon, Algonquin College and the Urban Element and hopes to continue inspiring people to cook and eat healthy.
