Are you living the keto lifestyle, but wondering if you'll ever get to enjoy a night on the town again?  Natural Food Pantry has a special event for you! Join us on Thursday Jan 31 at The Natural Cafe within the NFP Barrhaven location for a 3-course keto 'fancy dinner' with a delectable menu featuring low-carb, keto-friendly foods prepared by our very own chef, Bruce Enloe.   

The evening begins at 6:15pm with a 'mocktail hour' and appetizers such as avocados with organic bacon, quesadilla pinwheels on our popular keto wraps and crispy Yorkshire turkey spears with remoulade.  

A seated dinner will follow with a bone broth and konjac noodle soup, reverse seared grass fed beef cutlets served over cauliflower and gorgonzola gratin with grilled green beans.  

No night out would be complete without dessert! To end the evening, we will serve a rich and decadent chocolate cake to satisfy your sweet tooth, prepared by our incredible baker Nella Mahfouz.   

Your host for the evening will be Keto Goddess Genevieve Castonguay, who will speak briefly about the menu and the joys of living a keto lifestyle.  

A sugarless 'mocktail pairing' for each course will be offered as well, created by our in house cafe barista Nikki Ouellette.

Genevieve Castonguay is a multi-entrepreneur operating as the owner/wellness coach of a personal training company, Goddess Gains, a ketogenic lifestyle coach adopting a persona of 'Keto Goddess' with educational speaking engagements with Keto Better Life, a cancer survivor, author, and freelance marketing agent. Through education, empowerment and experience, her passion is to inspire a health awakening and cultivate a healthy mindset FIRST.

Chef Bruce Enloe joined the Natural Food Pantry team in 2018 as the company's Product Development chef.  He has a long and storied career that began at his parent's restaurant in Texas, includes a stretch in San Francisco at Millennium, a top world vegan destination where he co-authored The Artful Vegan (Ten Speed Press, 2003).  He and his wife, Nicole LeBlanc, owned and operated The Branch, an organic and local foods restaurant, in Kemptville, Ontario from 2006-2016. That restaurant was featured on the Food Network Canada in 2015 and prepared food for an event at the Prime Minister's residence in 2016. Bruce was also the General Manager of Two Rivers Food Hub, a not-for-profit promoting local foods and farmers from 2015 to 2018.  He and Nicole also created the Love My Buns low-carb bread line for their daughter Abigail who has special dietary needs. Nicole continues to grow this business which now offers products for sale throughout North America.
