Join Chef and Holistic Nutritionist Tanya as she demonstrates how to make some classic comfort foods to help you get through the winter. In this 2 hour cooking demo, Tanya will offer up lots of tips on how to make some of your favourite recipes gluten free and get you to ease into the transition of going gluten free. This class is suitable for vegetarians, gluten free and can be adapted for vegans.
On the menu she will demonstrate the following for the classics to sample:
-Pumpkin Gnocchi with Sage and Mushrooms
-Adult Mac n’ Cheese
-Chocolate Beet Cake
Throughout her years behind the stove, Tanya has dedicated much of her time to forming relationships with farmers and educating people on the importance of supporting our local food growers and makers. As an educator, Tanya has been teaching cooking classes for over 17 years at various locations including Soupçon, Algonquin College and the Urban Element and hopes to continue inspiring people to cook and eat healthy.
