Hi! I’m Wentsi! When I tried my first kombucha, it was love at first sip. Obsessed, I began making my own kombucha at home using my background in biology and experimenting with different teas, herbs, and fruits. Wanting to share my booch beyond my friends and family, I took out my savings and started Culture Kombucha - a business that will be good for people and the planet. Dedicated to the craft, we are Ottawa’s small batch kombuchary brewing with patience, love, and intention. Culture Kombucha is all about cultivating happiness and community. With you, we thrive on good vibes and good times. Our kombucha is traditionally brewed for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Melissa Fung holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa, and a designation as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where she received the Highest Standing Award in her graduating class. She is also an active member of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Alumni Association (CSNNAA) and recently completed the Advanced Preventative Nutrition Mentorship Program through Be Well Nutrition. Melissa is driven on the simple motto of "healthy living from the ground up", with the belief that much like plants, we all need healthy roots and a solid foundation in order to thrive. Through collaborative efforts, she helps her clients transition into a lifestyle that includes an ideal balance of diet, exercise, stress management, and environmental factors that are customized to suit their individual needs
