Join Chef and Holistic Nutritionist Tanya as she introduces you to foods that can help reduce inflammation. We will start off by sipping a cranberry, rosehip and hibiscus tea while Tanya explains some of the foods that can promote inflammation and which ones can help heal inflammation. Walk away with recipes and a list of foods to consume and avoid.
On the menu she will demonstrate the following for the class to sample:
-Collard green wraps with sesame dipping sauce
-Detox beet salad
-Updated Asian coleslaw
Throughout her years behind the stove, Tanya has dedicated much of her time to forming relationships with farmers and educating people on the importance of supporting our local food growers and makers. As an educator, Tanya has been teaching cooking classes for over 17 years at various locations including Soupçon, Algonquin College and the Urban Element and hopes to continue inspiring people to cook and eat healthy.
