This Beef Stir Fry with Bone Broth can be eaten by itself, with noodles or with steaming rice. It’s delicious! You can even customize your veggies and your protein and instead of rice or noodles, two great healthy options are lettuce cups and cauliflower rice! The sauce for this is a more savoury sauce but if you want it to be sweeter and have a more teriyaki flavour, just add a little pineapple juice and/or a little more cane sugar. Before cooking the Beef Stir Fry with Bone Broth, we marinated the beef with soy sauce, bone broth, pepper and potato starch.
Ingredients for the sauce/marinade:
1/4 cup Low sodium soy sauce
3/4 cup Beef boned broth
1 tbsp Ginger minced
2 tbsp Potato starch
Ingredients for the stir fry:1/2 lb or more Beef sirloin steak sliced (or any other meat/protein)
2 tbsp Olive or Avocado oil
1 cup Bok Choy, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms sliced
1 Onion sliced
2 Carrots sliced
1 cup Broccoli florets
1 cup Snap peas or snow peas
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions:Combine soy sauce, bone broth, garlic, and starch in a small mixing bowl then place half of the mixture in a glass container with lid, add sliced beef, coat with marinade, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Keep the other half of the mixture in a bowl and stir until smooth, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Over medium-high heat add steak slices and stir-fry until just browned, remove steak from skillet and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the same skillet and stir-fry onion, mushroom, carrots and snow peas until soft. Then add the beef, broccoli and bok choy to the veggies and continue to stir fry for a couple of minutes.
Add remaining sauce and cook until the sauce thickens.
Serve on top of a bed of Brown rice, quino, noodles or cauliflower rice.
